Is coding bootcamp a useful skill to add as a mechE or engineer in general?
Short and sweet, graduated chemE in 2017, landed a role as mechanical 2019 and still at it. Took a coding quiz from my former universities continuing education program out of random curiosity and they've been calling me trying to get me to enroll and explaining the process. Its 4k for an 18 week back end coding class that apparent also includes an additional at your own pace front end class as a bonus right now (buy one get one free i guess). Have any of you found use for coding as a supplement in your roles? Some of the programs they teach my job uses and I touch (but don't design) daily (SQL, Java) so seems like it could be useful
