Is this a good Survival essay start?

Never touch Asteroids.

October 31, 2023 Journal Entry one.

Today, an asteroid fell. On Halloween! I love space and all, but there's no way that thing is safe. Also, It fell on a powerline, so the internet went out!

I sighed as I closed my notebook. I love space. Huge on space, favorite subject ever, and with my knowledge on space, I know something it seems all these simpletons don't. In no way, should you touch an asteroid... without gloves. Especially, the very day it fell!

"...!" My mom called from the living room. My Mom, A wonderful mother, though somewhat strict, but a good strict. I think.

"Yeah," I answered, as I walked out of my messy room.

"When are you cleaning your room ....?" she asked

"Uh... I don't know?" I questioned, I was questioning myself, not my mom.

"Well It better be soon, Or I'm taking away your phone," My mother replied, I knew that tone... She meant 'clean it now.'

"Ok mom." I said, I hated cleaning my room... I shuffled my old dog out of my room "Moose, Out," moose growled in retaliation to this. So I gave up and put him on my bed. "Moose you stubborn dog" I remarked, I loved that dog dearly, but he was a pain to take care of. I picked up the books on my floor, and the clothes laying along my floor, I cleaned up the spilt water from moose's food bowl, and then I made my bed.
