Short haircut for men with straight hair?

My little brother has very straight medium coarse hair. He usually has it shoulder length and there isn’t much wave or shape to it. It’s very straight. He got frustrated and buzzed it all off. It’s been growing unevenly now (about 4 or 5 inches atm maybe a bit more) and since it’s super straight he constantly looks electrocuted. I want to treat him to a haircut. Unfortunately neither of us know what a good short haircut would be for someone with stick straight hair that won’t look so goofy, no offense to him.
