Can you fix a charging cable for a PS5 by hand? (For all of DIY people and fixers out there.)

My PS5 charging cable that came with the system is no longer working. I found it the other day with the controller end tip bent slightly. I bent it back, but now my controllers won’t charge through the cable. I know it’s because a wire within the controller, but IDK how to fix it. Does anyone here know how to fix this issue? Is there a way? I wanna know before I buy a new one cause I was able to achieve this in the past with a ps3 cable.
