I just blocked a client and it felt great

I sat for a client who was overbearing and difficult the entire sit, honestly probably my least favorite client I’d ever sat for despite the easy dog. Turns out they really wanted constant care, so I told them when they made a second request that I had constant care rates but would sit for them again. They negotiated me down on the rates (against my better judgment) and then didn’t confirm the booking for days. After 2 follow up reminders they canceled on me bc they found some other poor soul to provide care for cheaper, which is what I assumed was happening. Fine by me, good riddance. Told myself I’d never entertain their requests again for any price.

Anyway, today they requested a sit again. The audacity! Wrote “Hi, Name!” and wrote the wrong name, so clearly they even sent the request to multiple people. I can tell they’re in a bind as the sitting is for tomorrow, but I went ahead and blocked them. Not my problem: play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I bend over backwards for my regulars who treat me well because it’s mutual.
