So i have been unable to connect 6 devices since i started over a year ago, only able to use 1 device at a time (including turning off wifi on my phone because it screws the speed hard, despite having 2 towers due to area congestion)

Im hoping i can get back to gaming like i used to via using a router to allow NAT type 2 and other settings. Support says that the only one theyve heard of working is the Google Nest, which is pretty expensive for my taste for the reasons i want...anyone know if the

would work as a router via WAN, turning off the wifi on the modem and enabling a bridge connection instead via Ethernet cable? Trying to save some dough
