Activity Ideas for Teaching an Online Course

Hello all,

I am a grad student instructor teaching developmental psychology as an online course this upcoming spring. I am looking to add some activities to my online course that will help promote engagement and application of the course material, specifically looking at biological, social, and cognitive factors for different age groups. These activities would be taking the spot of an in-person lab session and could be completed at home, independently. Some current ideas I have are things such as creating a developmental milestone chart and analyzing children's tv shows.

If you have any suggestions, ideas, or resources that you have used or that could be applied to this course content, I would love to hear them! Thank you all in advance.
