AITA for causing chaos at a music festival?

About 3 years I was at a music festival (Summerfest in Milwaukee). When I got there I got in the line to enter the festival. The line was probably a couple thousand people long at the entry gate and the gates didn’t open for another 20ish minutes. After standing there for about 10 minutes I noticed another gate maybe a couple hundred feet away that no one was lined up at that had a worker just standing there. I’m not sure if he had just appeared at that moment or if he had always been there and no one noticed. Or maybe people were just being good little soldiers and got in the organized line. I decided to take a chance and got out of the massive line and went and stood by that gate. Soon after a few people followed, and then people started running. People in the long line started yelling at the people joining the other line. One guy came over and got in a fist fight. Soon the organized line turned into a giant mass crowding both of the two gates. Lots of the people who were in front who had been waiting for hours were quite unhappy and letting others know about it. In the end my gate worked and I was one of the first couple people in ☺️.
