Money hungry landlords

Rant lang kasi naghahanap ako ng apartment for my girlfriend and I. One year pa lang kami nag wwork and we’ve been trying to find a place to move into na pwede namin dalhin yung cats namin. I can’t help it but be annoyed sa mga landlord na mag ooffer ng apartment nilang pet friendly BUT with additional costs. As in ang dami? What I mean is sasabihin nila na 10k/month yung rent, pero if may pet ka +2k per month and +2k daw sa deposit PER pet. I’d get it kung sa deposit lang yung additional, syempre pet yan eh. But to add on to the monthly fee? Parang ang stupid as if namang nagttrabaho yung pusa ko para mabayaran yung half niya. Idk I might be an AH kasi business nila yan, kung ayaw ko edi wag, hindi siguro ako yung target market nila. But it’s just so off putting to me, I feel like they’re taking people for granted.
