Haul Refused by Customs (Canada)

As the title states. Recently had a 8KG haul stuck in Canadian customs for several days before being denied entry.

Now the package has been refused by customs and is now being returned to sender.

Just curious if this has happened to anyone else? And if there is anything I can do to dispute the customs refusal.

Additional info: 8KG haul, declared at $14USD (standard practice in Canada), items include Bottega Veneta coat, sambas, stussy sweater, Alyx backpack, Nike dunks, Nike T’s and and a Nike ACG vest.

I used EMS for shipping.
