Downstairs neighbor😭

I posted a week ago about my downstairs neighbor making a complaint after singing happy birthday at 7pm. (He said it was interrupting his reading I kid you not)

We ended up going to them and letting them know we were just having a bday celebration so we didn’t have any unnecessary drama and all was good.

That next night we were in our room (master bedroom) and we heard loud bangs coming from the downstairs neighbors and we thought maybe they were doing something? Because we were in bed not making any noise. Then my boyfriend got up from bed to go to restroom and they banged again. I guess it’s because the floor is super creaky and we put a carpet down and avoid the creakiest part as much as we can (it’s literally all the open space in the room that creaks). They spent over an hour banging on the ceiling even at our slightest moving (like going to the bathroom).

It just super sucks because I feel like they hate us and think we’re being super loud on purpose when it’s just the floors and we’re just doing regular living things 😭 we contacted the manager to have someone come and fix it and we are still waiting. I wish they would just come up and that way we can BOTH tell the landlord to get it fixed faster but they would rather bang on the ceiling for over an hour.

I hate feeling like I’m ALREADY on eggshells in my new apartment 😒 anyways hopefully they fix it soon and we can have a week of peace.
