Would you take a 6 month old on a cruise?

Would you take a 6 month old baby on a cruise? I'm a FTM and my boyfriend's mom is trying to plan a cruise out of the country for March 2024. This means we would also have to fly/drive to the port that we leave from, so it would essentially be another small trip before getting on the cruise as well. She was so excited to tell everybody about it and was saying it was gonna be such a fun family vacation, so I felt bad when I wanted to tell her that I'm not comfortable enough to take my baby out of the country that young. Her exact words were, "baby will be old enough by then and have all his shots, so we'll get a room for you 3." I'm not sure if I'm being cautious because I'm a FTM and paranoid, but I just think it would be a hassle and I don't want to. Would you do it? I would love to hear different perspectives. Should I let my partner tell her no, or should I be the one to say it?
