Which White is the best/easiest?

Hello everyone,

long story short i've started the hobby and got Vallejo White (Model Color, 70.951) as it was recommended in a tutorial on youtube. The first mini i painted i primed grey (Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey) but in the end the colors above were to dark to my liking, so i primed the second Mini with said Vallejo White (or at least i tried to). After 3 thin coats the coverage is still terrible and i'm annoyed so i called it a day and moved on to the next color.

So my question is, which plain White color of which brand is the best and easiest in terms of coverage/opacity so i only need to apply one coat, two at the max?

To get some of the usuall questions out of the way:

- Yes, i thin my paints.

- No, i don't think i thin them too much. I use a selfmade wet palette and put drops of paint on it and only one drop of water via a pipette at the time and the white (and maybe a green) is the only color that gives me trouble in terms of coverage.

- Please don't recommend spray paints.

- No, i won't get an air brush.
