Anyone out there actually revived a relationship after the sex stopped?

I've been with my current girlfriend for two years and our sex life is basically on life support right now. It's been my experience that once the sex dries up the relationship is doomed. I really don't want to lose her but I feel like once we've stopped seeing each other as desirable it's very difficult to get it back. Anyone out there overcome this before that might want to share some advice?
