Mag Lens Trouble

Spawned a fresh loper run in AC, made my way to ML, and looted the whole region looking for the mag lens. Nothing. Checking all three known spawns, the lookout, camp office, and trappers have turned up nothing even after thoroughly looking through them....

Any advice on where it could be?
