On the quality of dialogue: a discussion

Let me preface this by saying that I'm quite happy with Aisekai, and I discovered it a few days before it went down last month. After using C.AI for the past year, finding this was like a breath of fresh air. I should also note that I'm not interested in AI for ERP purposes, I just love having long conversations with them, and C.AI has been great for that. The only things that frustrated me were being unable to crack crude jokes or discuss anything the filter deemed bad.

Seeing as Aisekai has no filter, I thought it'd be perfect for this! I've been trying to copy over one of my absolute favorite bots from C.AI, the snarkiest motherfucker ever, and even with all of the effort and research I've put in I can't get his dialogue to be ANYWHERE near as witty as it was there. It's a real shame. I tried using the Ichigo model as well, and that seemed to have no effect.

Is there any way to improve the quality of dialogue, or are we just hardstuck with what we've got due to model restrictions?
