So, I'm giving up on NT and their garbage elliptical - what's the alternative?
Spent a good portion of the last 3 years fighting over replacement parts for the p.o.s. E9.5i elliptical brick sitting in my rec room, currently due to the frame (under "lifetime" warranty) cracking like an egg. They won't honor the warranty because they claim they can see rust in the 9+ pics they requested (again, it's barely 3 yrs old), but if there's rust, it was likely painted over when whatever maniac they hired to attempt welding fabricated the part.
That being said, what to do now? I'm shopping around for (preferably) another elliptical in the sub-$3k range, but I have no idea what's good out there. I hear Peloton mentioned every once in a while, but the last year seems to have been nothing but a complete train wreck for them, and I'd like it a lot if the company still existed once I need to make a warranty claim. I'm also seeing names like Schwinn, Bowflex, etc. but I have zero experience with reliability, company rep, etc. ,So where's everyone else fleeing to? t.i.a.
