Comelit 7000HW issues

So I have been setting up new site and about the only thing working when I got there was the comelit video intercom. We had a firm in to install a new door access system and as the comelit was working decided to have them just wire it in to allow is to open the door. Anyway the access system is in and I go to test the Comelit and the 7000Hw unit that talks to the door camera is not working. When I power it up the key icon and bell mute icon are just flashing and nothing displays. There has been a ton of work in the room this was located in so someone could have knocked it off the wall etc but wondering if anyone has any ideas of things to try. I really don't want to buy a new one as we were likely going to replace this In a year or two when building fills up. Anyway thanks in advance for any suggestions. And if you can't think of a way to fix this what would suggest for a budget conscious wireless door camera system that can tie into a pdk system ?
