Subtek on foot with dual laspistols

I'm putting together a Van Saar army. I'm not going for super competitive, but I don't like to run stuff that is completely useless. I've made one subtek on foot with a lasgun as a cheap option. I was going to make a second one, but thought I might mix it up with a subtek with a pair of laspistols. This seems like it could at least be fun, if not amazing. Am I completely off base wanting to do this?
