Should the Mods of r/Costco be forced to give all users of the sub a $1000 gift card for christmas?

I have no power to force the mods to do anything but I believe the law is if we all say yeah you have to give us a $1000 gift card to Costco for christmas and when I was looking I cannot find one source that says we can't so what do you think? (offer not valid to anyone named Phil or Jennifer or residents of Ohio)
