How Did You Get Diagnosed?

I hope this is okay for me to post- I’ve been sick for a while and a lot of my symptoms match up with POTS (though I know other issues can be very similar so I’m going to doctors), so I’ve been looking into it.

I was wondering, for those of you with official diagnoses, how did you get it? How long did it take? How long did you have symptoms before you realized it may be something/got a doctor to pay attention to it? What was the general process like?
