What should I do next? Need advice!

Hi friends,

I need some advice on what to do next when it comes to getting a diagnosis or treatment plan or figuring out my next medical steps. I’m 24 and I’m dealing with parallel arthritis in both arms, elbows, and hands. A bit in my knees and hips too but not too bad. I’ve always been kind of frail but it has gotten particularly bad in the past 6 or so months - Ive lost strength rapidly in my upper body, when I carry things my arms lock in a folded position. My shoulders and elbows crack a lot and painfully. My hands are sore almost all the time and tend to cramp up as well. There is a deep ache feeling in my forearms and my shoulders as well.

I went to my doctor and the autoimmune blood test came back negative. My doctor said she would refer me back to ortho (where I was previously for arthritis is my back). What would you do next? Go back to ortho? Ask for a rheumatologist referral? Treatment plan? Back to PT? Thank you so much for any advice about this journey!
