Are hashes up to 10 digits already pre computed?
New to John and was trying to crack an MD5 brute force because I knew the password was small. My machine is pretty terrible so It gave an estimated waiting time of 8 years for a max length of 7. I’m wondering if there exists a giant library of hashes already computed for hashes in general so we could just lookup the hash and get the plaintext instead of trying every plaintext. I know this would take a long time to do but like over the years with multiple contributors I’m sure there could be some library created for all the hashes with plaintext’s up to 10 digits which is larger than a lot of passwords. Has this been done if so where can I find it? And if not why?
