Retraining Approval

I saw someone else do this and wanted to share some positivity as well.

Found out Monday that I’ve been approved for retraining with class dates!

Currently in maintenance, retraining to 1D7X1D My application timeline:

August 18th - Submitted retraining request. Was originally determined ineligible for retraining. This was corrected once I attached the ETP Memo stating I could apply for retraining. Left a comment on the case stating with AFSCs I wanted to apply for.

August 28th - Received an email asking which shred of 1D7X1 I wanted to retrain into. I picked D shred.

September 20th - Called the retraining line for an update on my case. My case was closed due to a system error. The problem was quickly resolved after a phone call.

September 21st - Marked eligible for retraining into 1D7X1D. Needed to submit my package for this specific AFSC.

October 2nd - Submitted retraining package for 1D7X1D

October 20th - Approved for retraining pending available class seat

October 30th - Received class dates
