Looking for a book me and My wife would enjoy

She wants something that's twisted and disturbing, she's into serial killers and conspiracy theories. Me personally I'd like something like that too but not realistic like a documentary but just a story, just something really disturbing as well and a very good ending or plot twist would be cool. So what yall got?
