Neighbor chimney

Hi Guys,

My neighbors pellet stove chimney is a horizontal thru wall exit and its cap is exactly 36" from my fence.

It's a white chain link fence and it's getting absolutely wrecked by sticky ash and soot. My wife has cleaned it several times. It covers about 10 feet on either side of a direct line from the flue, and is even getting on our siding of the house.

The owner refuses to re route the flue. Says its wett certified (canada).

Has anyone run into this before?
