Advice on flow

I've been working on my own story for a few months now and feel like I've made decent progress. However, as I read other literary works and draw inspiration, I've noticed that I rarely find myself repeating the same phrases or using descriptive vocabulary repeatedly. Is there a secret to achieving a smooth flow without repetition, or is it simply a matter of practice?

I've been writing seriously for about a year and a half now and believe that my writing isn't too repetitive. Nevertheless, the more I read and research, the more self-conscious I become about my writing.

Any advice on how to achieve a seamless flow when writing narratives?
