First Time Builder

Hello everyone! me and my cousin have been trying to build a pc for generally playing games and for content creation. Currently our budget is around 1000$ and i would like to know how much i should allocate for each part. I would like to put more into the graphics card because we tend to play more graphic intensive games. However since i am a first time builder i would like suggestions on what parts i should get.
