Open ground

I have an open ground on several outlets. 1952 house. Most of the house has been renovated. Except these 2 rooms and a hallway. All 7 outlets have an open ground. I ran new wire to some other them. But it’s still saying open ground. So do I have to run this circuit back to the panel for it to be grounded with addition of putting a ground on all the outlets.
