Primary Care Physician

Hi! I'm a current freshman, and I have been taking advantage of Student Health for short-term illnesses and CAPS for mental health referrals. However, I was wondering, what is the process to get a Primary Care Physician (PCP) in the area? I am potentially seeking a long-term diagnosis that requires screening, but I am not sure who to consult in order to get screened. Also, I would generally like to have a PCP since I now live in Durham for most of the year. Would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations/even places to avoid!
