East Nashville Hotels?

Heading in from Atlanta next weekend, my wife and I have typically stayed downtown at the Renaissance, but we generally don’t do much on Broadway anymore, so I’m looking for an alternative. We find that most of the stuff we end up doing is in East Nashville. As far as hotels are concerned, I’m seeing a couple interesting boutique hotels in the area: The Russell and The Gallatin. It seems like the reviews are great at both, and the price isn’t bad, but am I missing something? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
