Options for hosting a dedicated server behind CGNAT

If you're looking at this, you're probably very annoyed that your ISP doesn't give you a public IPv4 address. Hell - maybe they don't even give you a public IPv6 address!

So, if you aren't too tech savvy or just don't want to learn computer networking just to play a dinosaur game, here's what I've found:

To use it, it's actually quite simple!

1. On your local router, port forward 7777 to the computer hosting the server.

2. On your ARK: Survival Ascended startup script, include your computer's address in the MultiHome parameter, and the port 7777: .\ArkAscendedServer.exe TheIsland_WP?listen?SessionName="Your Server Name"?Port=7777?QueryPort=27015?MaxPlayers=20?MultiHome=192.168.68.114 -server -log -NoBattlEye

3. On playit.gg, create an account and install it on your computer. Authenticate and create a tunnel. Keep the local address as 127.0.0.1 and the port number as 7777.

4. Launch your server!

That's it - enjoy! Your server should now appear on the server browser.
