Getting my copper IUD taken out

What would you recommend I take/do before getting my copper IUD taken out for a better experience? I'm very nervous cause getting it put in was very traumatic for me and this thing has caused me a lot of pain unfortunately. Thank you in advance, and wish me luck for tomorrow morning ❤️.
