Home insurance claim, need advice!!
Hey everyone, I live in California and have laminate floors, I have lived here for 12 years and have had no issues with the house. The other day I noticed in the living room that the flooring is making a massive bubble and when I walk over it it’ll compress about an inch. I can only assume that somehow water got underneath and caused this to happen. I called my insurance and they sent out and inspector. He wrote a report and said it may be to improper irrigation. I don’t have any standing water anywhere and insurance saids that if it is due to improper drainage that they would not cover it. What can I say or do to try to have my insurance cover this?? I need new floors asap as I fear mold may be growing. I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks!!
