Azure Functions, Web Apps for Containers, Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service

My company recently did a reorg, and we've broken off our team to manage a specific domain area of our application.

The team is around 20-30 developers, we'll be taking on our own devops responsibilities. Much of the team has shown interest in using .NET with Azure (we were previously using .NET with GCP).

We have a variety of use-cases, but our CTO, some of our infrastructure focused engineers, and some of our lead engineers are pushing for AKS. I don't think we have the skills to manage AKS and have heard that Azure Containers is a good solution in that use-case.

I've done a bit of research, but haven't really gathered experiences from individuals trying out these different options. Could anyone share what solutions they've used and what decisions they might make in this scenario.

I think I could probably figure out AKS as I've worked with containers quite a bit, but I'm not sure the team is capable of dealing with the management overhead.
