Rory was a jerk when Jess showed up with a black eye

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I think Rory was a huge jerk when Jess showed up to meet Emily and had a black eye. He tried to be mature in the whole situation, and he clearly told her MANY times that he didn't want to talk about it in that moment. Regardless of how it would've "just been so easy" to tell the truth, he said no and she kept pressing. She was so immature when she just wouldn't stop bringing it up and insisted on talking about it over and over, especially in front of Emily (who was all but a stranger to Jess). Even when Jess left without her, I think he was justified because he set a boundary and she just kept trying to cross it.

Thoughts? Anyone think Jess was the jerk instead?
