2009 Honda Civic hybrid, pulls hard to the left

I recently bought this hybrid, it's my first car with electric steering. Just putting the car in drive and letting it move itself, it very quickly goes to the left. When driving, you need to hold it to stop the same thing from happening. I took a look today, no suspension components appear to be bent, took measurements from different spots on each side of the car to see if something was off, but nothing visible. Could it be something as simple as an alignment? Thanks for any suggestions.... About to take it to a real mechanic and see if they can figure out what's going on. I haven't even tried an alignment because of how bad it is, it feels like something bent to me.
