anyone able to provide a how to on force updating graphics drivers?

I tried a YouTube video for the Ally and downloaded the AMD package for 7840U processors like it mentioned but when I tried to run it the software came back with an error showing it as an unsupported graphics chip.

Reading online and it seems that since it’s a custom mobile chip the OEM (Asus/Lenovo) has to push this update. I could’ve sworn I saw a couple posts showing that they were able to successfully force update the drivers, so how could I go about doing this? :,)
