New bridge piercing!!

I just got this new piercing and my mom is doing the most over it . (19F) she says people will shun me cause they aren’t accepting and I could’ve spent my money else where . It did hurt my feelings by her reaction but I’m trying not to take it to heart . Anyways , I’m in school for Xray so I will be in the medical field and was wondering does anyone have this piercing and how much of an impact it really has ??? She’s being dramatic , plus it’s not like she speaks for everyone. I do have a lip piercing as well it hasn’t made a difference honestly. But could y’all pls help ?

Btw I’m only doing prereqs for now it’s my first yr .
