Best USPSA mag combo to prevent magazine over insertion

Need opinions!

I'm doing a USPSA carry optics build for my x5 legion and deciding on which mags to get for my build. Using a 2023 built custom works p320 FCU

I've read about some people experiencing bent FCU ejectors from doing slide lock reloads due to over inserting the magazines.

Would you recommend going with 17 round tubes with +5 baseplates or 21 round tubes with +2 baseplates?
