Doordashes tip warning, thoughts?

im looking through dozens of tiktoks and ,.wow! people really don't know we get paid by their tips. I don't know about door dash, but I er Eats pays $2 per delivery, the rest of the money I make is actually their tip.

but like, people really don't know how this whole thing works. im scrolling through dozens of angry reactions. everyone is reading doordash warning as a threat to tip their driver. besides being a PR nightmare, I feel this is a miscalculation that makes everything worse.

it seems most people think tipping is a review or applause on us.

its crazy how many people are like "make my food late, well I'm not gonna use your service😡😡😡😡"

and to all you customers, Doordash did a really bad job of wording that YOU are paying us. not Dash, not Uber, YOU PAY US.

I think though, that the true customer base knows this, cause my tips range from $5-$10 and sometimes more.
