Some characters iv been working on that exist in the story iv been developing inside my world, curious what details of the world people can pick up from them and what they think of them?

Id recommend reading the public side of each character first before the secret side.

Noa and Soa:

Public Side:

Twin eleven year old human boys, they have a rather distant relation with their mother. It looks like their family has quite a bit of money, but they dont have any real access to it, and they often have to do work and odd jobs around the academy to earn extra money beyond the school's allowance system. They specialize in syncronicity chain attacks, where they use magic and weapons to attack in rapid succession with each other, moving into blind spots while the other one attacks and then launching their own. This makes their opponents always stay on the defensive, making it a threat to opponents stronger then them both combined. They are also good with storm magic (wind/lightning), water magic, and some spacetime magic. Despite being twins, they have some different looks. Noa has blonde hair, a left green eye and right red eye, and Soa has blue hair, a left red eye, and a right green eye. Noa tends to be shyer, but quicker to trust but tends to only really be loyal to Soa. Soa tends to act tougher and hide his emotions and embarrassment, but slower to trust, but as a result those who earn his trust he is feircly loyal to.

Secret Side:

!They are actually twin homunculi, soulbound twins produced by their "mother". She is a very distant and cruel person, and when she realized they were not her perfect creation, she used them for various experiments to gather more data and create the perfect homunculus. The reason they were sent to the magic academy was also to see how they might do in a public setting, although they were sent to the most dangerous one as she intends to dispose of them eventually anyways as failures. They hold a deep resentment towards her, but have a strong bond with each other, using their ability of sharing a single soul to telepathically coordinate with each other and become an incredibly dangerous two-man unit. They are still lacking a good deal of knowledge proper of the outside world, only having the basics, so they often need explanations and help from their friends to understand things properly.!<

Ruzketh “Ruz” Kratget:

Public Side:

Dwarf girl, 12 years old, shielder. While attending a school known for magical education, she is well known for being highly experienced with a shield and fighting as a vanguard during practice tests. She comes from a Knight family, and she has heard many stories about this place. That said, she is far more then some dwarf shield girl who can use magic. Her specialty is a reflection based attack, but she is also good at using pure magic attacks and also harnessing objects nearby and using telekinetic attacks. She has a bit of healing magic, but nowhere near as good as Sola’s. Her mana circulation techniques are top tier however. She is also very skilled in light magic, which is how she was admitted in the first place.

Secret Side:

! She is attending because she wants to be something more then her family legacy, but also because her mother went missing while investigating odd rumors at the academy, and she suspects foul play rather then some “accident in the dungeon”. She is determined something is amiss, and will use anything to her advantage. However, when it comes down to the hard work, she tends to take everything on herself.!<

Rowyn:

Black Cat Animan Boy, 11 years old, archer. A skilled archer from a large village, he had three older brothers. He is the most skilled shot of his family, but his skill with a bow is equal to his skill with magic. He typically likes to get a feel for a place by looking down on it from the highest perch he can find, and get a lay of the land. Perhaps this is also why he is an exceptional archer who can hit a bullseye from across a courtyard with ease. Even hitting something from across a field is something he can do. In his past he experienced a traumatic event however, which he doesn't like to talk about, but takes various moonlight walks as a result.

Because of what happened, he tends to mostly keep to himself, but he cant help but get involved sometimes. He is actually quite friendly and is more then willing to help others. Furthermore, he cant help but want to stand up for those who are victims of tragedy. He is incredibly good at storm magic, death magic, and shadow magic.

Secret Side:

!His subspecies of werewolf is Volana Lupia. That means that he not only is formed to transform under a full moon, but also every few nights in general. As such he is familiar with waking up bare naked in various places, usually the woods, and having to find his way back to his belongings provided they were not shredded, or home completely naked and dealing with the other embarrassing and unpleasant details. Because he doesn’t choose to do so of his own free will, being seen naked after a nighttime transformation is very embarrassing for him. Two years ago he got attacked while playing in the woods with some friends, and ever since then they have all been Werewolves. However the event was traumatic, and he hasn’t seen much of them since. !<

!Most people think that only humans and Wolf Animans can become Werewolves but as he proves, that is not the case. However, because of how unpleasant it is, he hides the fact he is a werewolf. That said, he knows he cant hide it forever. Werewolves have five times the lifespan that they normally would otherwise. Its considered a Curse Disease, and there is no known cure or treatment, and its something that’s considered to be bonded to one’s very DNA. As such, people just have to live with it. Children of werewolves are born having inherited it after all, and there are plenty of them that have managed to have normal or at least normalish lives. That said, he does hope to perhaps find something here that can be of use to him.!<

!He has the agility of Cat Animans, as well as the physical abilities of his werewolf blood on top of that.!<

Sola Vael:

Public Side:

Mixed Blood Elf (Half Wood, Half High), 11 years old, mage and alchemist. Out of all the students of the Special Activities Group/Club, he is the one who is probably the nicest and most friendly, but also quite timid. He hasn’t really had anything bad happen to him like the others, although that’s not an irregular tale to hear in this world.

He focused up on really learning and mastering any and all magic related to healing, and is now very talented with Life, Death, and Water Attribute Magic, as well as Time Attribute. He wants to try and help as many people as he can, heavily inspired by the hard working knights and doctors, so when he learned he did actually excel in magic, he decided to become one of the best healing mages around. He also decided to learn about alchemy as well, in order to be able to make potions as needed and expand the ways he could help people.

Secret Side:

!He is so determined to become better, he has a tendency to work too hard, and push himself too far. He can also be far too forgiving for his own good, as a result needing his friends to back him up. However, when he was a child he did see the harsh realities. His mother, a doctor, had to take him to work because the sitter canceled, and it was on that day he saw a horrific sight. Countless knights wounded and injured came, and a lot of doctors were called in. Unfortunately there were too many in the middle of perming treatments elsewhere, and they simply didn’t have enough people on hand, but they still tried their best to save everyone. !<

!After seeing such a sight, he gained resolve that surprised his three older sisters and older and younger brother. !<

Ruola:

Public Side:

Human, 11 years old, book lover and wizard. A human with incredible talent for magic, he has silver hair and red eyes. He is known as a prodigal talent and someone who his family, such as his two older brothers and two younger brothers, is very proud of. He tends to be a bit of a loner, and tends to act cold towards people. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder as well.

Secret Side:

! In truth, he is actually a vampire. Six months ago, he disappeared for several days and when he woke up, he was laying naked on an alter, having been turned into a vampire. He has yet to tell his family and friends. Thankfully due to his high amount of mana, his aging has begun to slow quite a bit anyways so he figures he can get away with it for a few years at least before people realize he just isn't growing at all. No known cure for vampirism exists, even the expensive and incredibly rare all powerful Elixer cant do it just like Werewolfism/Lycanthropy. The only method so far...is death. Hence why its known as a Curse Disease. He tends to be distant from everyone because he is afraid of what might happen if found out, and how he will be hunted. Vampires often are not seen too kindly, and many people hunt them, even if its generally illegal to hunt all vampires now in the Age of Science, only bad ones who cause trouble.!<

Rezzat Aetherton:

Public Side:

Human, 12 years old, wizard. A noble daughter from a standard noble daughter’s upbringing. Nothing really all that special about her, as she comes from a Marquis family. She isn’t afraid of disgusting bugs or slimy creatures, and even can find them cute, much to the chargin of the twins who hate all of that. That said, perhaps due to such a highborn raising, she is often disconnected with some common sense and has difficulty adapting to things commoners are perfectly fine with, such as bathing in rivers with large groups or sharing beds with multiple people. She isn't used to various methods commoners eat such as food not meant to be eaten with a fork and knife, and stall food is alien to her.

Secret Side:

!That said, she is a bit frustrated by that. Sure as a noble girl, she is basically special, and she is even from high ranking nobility. However, she is a modern girl, and she is highly capable. As such, she has come to this academy to prove that she is just as tough as the commoners and can forge her own destiny. She is also quite over eager to prove herself, and show that she is not just a noble for being born into a family, but because of what she is capable of. Especially when she has an older sister that is so talented. She looks up to her a lot but is also very jealous of her. She is also extremely competitive. !<

Ellie:

Public Side:

Demon, 11 years old, warrior. She is perhaps the simplest of them all, as she is a combat loving warrior and battle junkie, who is always looking to spar and fight. This may lead her to randomly decide to spar with her friends and classmates, whether they want her to or not or whether its an appropriate time. She isn’t violent so much as energetic however, but that energy just happens to be channeled towards what she is good at, which is violence and combat.

She is highly capable at using mana circulation techniques, but her greatest asset is her mana disruption spike, which has the chance to disrupt spells as they are being cast. Although its neither guaranteed or impossible to defend against, hers seem to be quite talented. That said, she actually excels in fire magic and light magic as well.

She is determined to always be there for her friends, and is quite the stubborn and sociable person, much to everyone’s chargin. She is a big meat eater, but she also enjoys fruit as well. You could say she stubbornly runs towards her goal with all her might.

Secret Side:

!Honestly, it may be a bit boringish, but she actually doesn't have much of one. Of course, she has faced discrimination against her kind, the Demon Race, but she never let it affect her too much, instead standing against it and proving them wrong again and again. However, perhaps because of that, she hates it when people ridicule and make fun of her friends, when they bully and persecute them. That can easily send her into a rage. She isn't very shy or modest either, and perhaps is the least bothered by things. But perhaps all of these traits causes her to get into trouble more often then anyone else as well. She has a deep interest in the twins, as she can sense something about them instinctively.

In any case, really tried to get a good group together that would become great friends and also end up being able to work together in the long run against the various dangers and issues that occur at the academy. Curious what everyone thinks?
