How do you store your binders? Final storage battle!!

It's seem to not be agreement on which is the best way to store non-ringed and side loaded binders. Some manufacturers like Ultra Pro and Ultimate Guardian recommends laying flat (horizontally and without stacking) while others such as vaultx vertically. Which do you use or do you believe that is the safest method?
