Realistically, how quickly will I see results?

I'm a 33 y/o guy, 5'5, and 190lbs. Most of my weight is on my belly. I started at 195lbs. My original goal weight was 160. I am budgeting 1500 calories/day. When I set that weight goal I only planned on dieting with minimal exercise. However, I was introduced to Jiu Jitsu and I'm loving it. But BJJ made me realize that I'm very week compared to the others in class. In an effort to be better at BJJ, I want to start strength training. This is where my original goal weight probably needs to be shifted a bit if I want to build strength. Also, my calorie budget will likely need to increase. I will amend that once I get started with strength training.

I'm planning on doing the 5x5 program 3 times per week. The other 3 days I do Jiu Jitsu for cardio. And Sunday is a rest day.

I understand that this is a marathon, not a sprint. That's why I'm doing this in steps. I started counting calories with a higher budget, and lowered it to my current 1500. Then I added BJJ. And now I'm adding strength training.

Once I implement strength training, how quickly will I see results?
