If I wanted to get a regular, entry-level job at a restaurant or something, where would I even look for that?
I'm super privileged, and the only jobs I've ever had have been in software engineering. When I applied to those jobs, it was always through stuff like LinkedIn and college career fairs.
And it made me think...where do people go to find regular jobs? I assume that the people who wash dishes or clean floors didn't submit an online application through LinkedIn. Or maybe they did? The truth is that I really just don't know!
Could anyone enlighten me? How do people look for jobs that aren't like career-focused degree-prerequisite white-collar kinds of jobs?
