Scammer?

I posted on an investment thread seeing if anyone was willing to buy the IP for the invention I had created and got a message back in DMs saying this guy was interested but wanted to give me $30kUSD to invest in selling the invention to a venture capitalist but that I need to make a 3% downpayment.

And made me sign a contract and say I would give him twice weeekly updates plus equity or repayment within two years
