Help me choose a class :)

Hey all, longtime EQ player here, but, i'm stunlocked on what to play.

My history:

Original EQ - Paladin

P99 Blue - Monk

P99 Green - Shaman

I'm sort of debating playing another tank, so SK sounded like it could be fun. Only thing turning me off from SK is you sort of "have" to play a troll or ogre, i mean, you don't have to, but giving up frontal stun immunity or that regen is pretty rough. I know this is blasphemy for some, but i can't stand the models for those races.

Second thought was Necro, however i sorta wanted to wait for the Kunark era to make an ikky toon b/c i never did the iksar leveling experience (I made my shaman a barb on P99), and they're sort of a perfect race for necro and/or shaman.

Mage was another idea, but, that means effectively giving up on the idea of getting an epic unless Secrets decides to do something to curb the absolutely toxic neckbeard shit that went on with cornering certain pieces (like the hate piece, etc).

Druid or Wiz could be fun, with added benefit of ports and solo ability via quad kiting.

Anywho, just sort of looking for some opinions from people who've mained those other classes who might be able to share some fun insights about the classes i hadn't maybe considered!
