41 [F4M] Southern California- Looking for the Joe to my Beck

As a romantic and hopeless idealist, I find myself seeking that electric connection with someone that transcends superficial small talk and moves into a deeper level of conversation. I desire someone who is as passionate as I am, someone who understands my quirks and idiosyncrasies, someone who obsesses over me as much as I do over them. And as much as I recognize the unhealthy aspects of obsession, there's something alluring about having someone who not only wants you, but craves you.
When the character of Joe Goldberg in "You" burst onto the scene as a twisted, yet deeply passionate character, I found myself captivated by the idea of having someone who cared so deeply and would do anything for the person they love. But of course, in real life, that level of obsession can quickly turn into possessiveness and even danger.
However, there is something to be said for finding someone who you connect with on a level that transcends traditional norms. I am seeking someone who I can have deep conversations with, who wants to know the inner workings of my mind and heart. Someone who isn't afraid to challenge me and push me to be a better version of myself.
I often think of the character of Beck from "You" who craved a deep, intellectual connection with someone, but also wanted someone who was passionate and devoted to her. And while I don't necessarily want someone who is as pathological as Joe Goldberg, I do want someone who is willing to put in the effort to pursue our connection.
Ultimately, I am seeking a partner who is my equal in passion, drive and intellectual curiosity. Someone who is willing to put in the effort to make our relationship work, and who is willing to obsess over me (in a healthy way, of course), as much as I do over them. Because in the end, isn't that what true love is all about?
