Another Louis problem… maybe it was me, maybe the vet, I don’t know. I took him to the vet yesterday and they gave me some meds for parasites and some zinc for stress. Apparently he had an ulcer on his eye too so I have to wash it out with this liquid she gave me. He got his nails clipped and his teeth filed there too. When we got back he was definitely tired. But I don’t remember if he was limping or not. He was super scared and when I was trying to pick him up to do his medication (I have like a cuddle sack or whatever but he doesn’t touch it). He ended up jumping out of my hands and fell. I didn’t recognize any difference after that. He was as pretty normal, but then when I got him out this morning he had a noticeable limp and favored his left foot. He was also way more tired and was openly laying down in the middle of the cage which he never does. He’s also laying down right now. He is still reactive like anytime I get up he’ll jerk his head up. I’m definitely making a call to the vet tomorrow, but I’m just so nervous that I hurt him or something. He jumped out of my hands when I was trying to feed him the critical care too. He won’t eat it unless I force him too. He’s still eating his pellets and hay. I haven’t seen him drink at all. The vet gave me this new medicated water I don’t know if I should switch it back to his normal water. I feel so bad he’s just going through so much right now. Any advice on what to do now would be greatly appreciated.
