High level 1 shot ideas!

I kinda want to run a really high level 1 shot for like 3 or 4 people but I'm having trouble coming up with fun ideas. The best I've got is like [insert High CR enemy] has abducted/stolen [insert important person or object] and the party is charged with retrieving it. They then travel to a lair of some description and fight 1 or 2 sets of weaker enemies until the fight the boss. not very original or interesting I think. What do yall have?
